Home Based Business Selection Process

Should you be at a point in your life where you are considering the selection of a home based business, here are a few things to consider. I am listing just a few things here simply because there are so many this post would be far too long. These certainly are not all the things I believe necessary to review. Please note: they are not listed in order of importance.

Reputation: Relentless due diligence on the company and the product line is imperative.

Training: Product knowledge training is an absolute necessity.

The Back Office: Make sure it meets your needs.

Products: Are the products reasonably priced yet high quality delivering as promised?

Mentoring: A serious amount mentoring should be available to you especially when starting out.

Commitment: Decide if you are willing to do what it takes to make the opportunity work.

Compensation Plan: The comp plan should be solid and easy to understand and explain.

Guarantee: What will you offer your customers with regard to guarantees or warranties?

Web Presence: The company should have a dynamic web presence.

Honesty: “Just plain honesty” is easy for us all to understand. Does the new company have it?

Product Useage: Are you willing to use the product? Do you currently use the product? This is a very short list of things to consider when selecting your new home based business. The selection is yours as well at the result of your selection. It is your responsibility. It’s your money, your time, your family’s time. Choose wisely.

  1. These are all great points when looking into a home based business. Loving the products, the company, the service, the guarantees and what it can mean to your family and the community around you are absolutely important. For me, I would not be able to talk about or share products that I didn’t feel are needed and would make a difference to families. With any business, it usually takes a couple of years to get established. One cannot succeed unless one has tried and failed many times. Work on it until you get it right. Everyone has their own unique style. Thanks for your post.
